Being Green in the office

Spring is here! Where ever you live, you are sure to be happy to see the Earth in bloom. While most of us would love to be outside enjoying the weather, reality is we are probably at work sitting at our desks. The good news is there are simple ways to be Green in the office.

 - Evaluate what you are wasting, can you send memos by email rather than printing.

 - Use the blank side of paper you were going to throw away for test printing or note paper.

 - After you use your note paper recycle it!

 - When choosing a printer, select one with re-fillable ink cartridges.

 - When you upgrade old office equipment donate the old equipment to a local charity rather than throwing it away.

 - When sending interoffice mail reuse an old envelope, when shipping reuse old boxes.

 - Finally my favorite tip, if your office has a kitchen, bring your own dishes & silverware, you won't be wasting paper products & everything tastes better
  on a real plate!
